Mr. Trump’s paid lier, Kellyanne Conway, claims (CNN)
“I bet it’s brand new information to people that President Obama had a 6-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre. It didn’t get covered.”
First of all, Obama didn’t ban the Iraqi refugee program.
Second, there’s no such thing as the Bowling Green massacre.
Well she was at least half-right. It is brand new information, made up out of whole cloth. What talent. The wrong kind.
Also, Chris Matthews apparently didn’t have a clue that this was disinformation. Kind of a black eye there for MSNBC, huh?
Mr. Trump and his people take competence to a new low.
At this rate I don’t see how they’re going to last four years. Not that Trump will commit high crimes and misdemeanors, but rather that he’ll collapse and exit from shear exhaustion. It’s tough playing the fool all day, every day.
Yes, I’m resorting to mockery. It’s all that’s left. Trump and his followers (let’s stop calling them supporters – their support is beginning to look cult-like) don’t respond to rational argument, they don’t appear to value what the majority of Americans value, and from what I’m reading and seeing they’re all but unreachable.
The choice is laugh or cry. I choose to laugh.
